Sue Johnson is Director of the Ottawa (Canada) Couple and Family Institute and the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy as well as Professor of Clinical Psychology at the University of Ottawa and Research Professor at Alliant University in San Diego, California.

She has received numerous honors for her work, including the Outstanding Contribution to the Field of Couple and Family Therapy Award from the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the Research in Family Therapy Award from the American Family Therapy Academy. She is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association.

Dr Johnson’s best known professional books include, The Practice of Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy: Creating Connection (2004) and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy with Trauma Survivors (2002).

She trains counselors in EFT worldwide and consults to Veterans Affairs, the U.S. and Canadian military and New York City Fire Department.

Dr. Freda McKissic Bush is a board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist who is a partner in private practice with East Lakeland OB-GYN Associates in Jackson, Mississippi. East Lakeland is a six-woman group whose dedication is to women and their reproductive health.

Since 1968, she has been involved in women's health issues when she was a Clinical Instructor in Maternity Nursing at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, graduating from Columbia University New York as a Certified Nurse Midwife in 1970, and working at Harlem Hospital. In 1974, she became the Director of Nurse Midwifery Programs at the University of Mississippi, responsible for the education of nurse-midwives and their placement for service in the Southeastern United States.

In 1983, she graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Mississippi Medical School. Upon completion of her residency training at the University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1987, she returned to Jackson where she worked for Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center and began private practice.

Freda spends much time speaking on sexuality education, sexually transmitted infections, and social behavior education. Jamie Mason, co-host of the North Star Guardians, interviews Ms. Jessica Brody, author of The Fidelity Files published by St. Martin Griffins.

Jessica Brody, 28, knew from a young age that she wanted to be a writer. She started self "publishing" her own books when she was seven years old, binding the pages together with cardboard, wallpaper samples and electrical tape.

After graduating from Smith College in 2001 where she double majored in Economics and French and minored in Japanese, Jessica later went on to work for MGM Studios as a Manager of Acquisitions and Business Development. In May of 2005, Jessica quit her job to follow her dream of becoming a published author. Between 2006 and 2007, Jessica sold two adult novels to St. Martin's Press and two young adult novels to Farrar, Straus, Giroux. The Fidelity Files, her debut, is now available in stores (in real binding) and the sequel, which she is currently completing, is slated for publication in the summer of 2009. The Karma Club, Jessica's debut YA novel will be released in the spring of 2010.

The Fidelity Files has already sold in the UK, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Russia and Taiwan (to date).Jessica now works as a freelance writer and producer. David Givens began studying body language at the University of Washington in Seattle.
