Dr. Barry Gordon received his M.D. degree from the Chicago Medical School in 1965. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at the Jewish Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn in 1968, and in Hematology at the Montefiore Hospital Medical Center in the Bronx in 1969. Dr. Gordon has served as Chief of Hematology at two Brooklyn hospitals, and has been on the teaching staff of the Downstate Medical School (SUNY Health and Science Center at Brooklyn) as a Clinical Instructor in Medicine. She earned a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In 1998, she received a writing fellowship at the Ragdale Foundation in Lake Forest, Illinois, where she began work on her book Holistic Parenting: Raising Children To A New Physical, Emotional And Spiritual Well-Being. Lynn became interested in Holistic Medicine as a result of her husband’s degenerative nerve condition. After he endured seven years of unsuccessful conventional medical treatments, she decided to explore the world of Alternative Medicine.
